GAUTENG Education has issued an update on school placement offers.
Gauteng MEC for Education, Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Matome Chiloane, announced that 293 057 placement offers have been issued for the 2025 Online Admissions for grade 1 and grade 8 pupils as of 7am on Thursday, 19 September.
This includes 146 385 offers for grade 1 and 146 672 for grade 812.
So far, 148 744 offers have been accepted, while 105 193 are still pending acceptance by parents. Continue here.
